Fed 1

My Fed 1 is another product of the former Soviet Union, this one came out of the factory in 1954 based on the serial number. The Fed is of course a copy of the Leica II, it is quite common for enterprising individuals to make a few "improvements" such as engraving Leica into the top plate to sell to the unsuspecting. Still it is a decent camera once you get used to working with it.
