I've had this old Kodak for years, just sitting on a shelf as I thought that it was missing the lens. It turns out that the lens is intact, it is just behind the shutter and aperture iris, hidden from view. So I decided I'd try to fix it up and bring into a usable condition. The shutter works fine and the viewfinder is usable, but the bellows were in bad shape, full of pinholes which would have ruined the film. There are a number of ways to carefully patch bellows, but being a busy person and this being a cheap and somewhat common camera I just slapped some black acrylic paint on wherever i found a hole.

According to McKeowns price guide this camera was manufactured between 1916 and 1926. I'm not sure what this list of patents is for, from what I can find patent markings on old Kodak cameras might actually refer to aspects such as the lens or shutter rather than the actual camera model. The latest date I could find on the camera was 1917 as can be seen here, so based on this information I can say the camera is between 82 and 92 years old. Either way this might be my oldest working camera.

Other than some issues with flares and some light leaks I missed when patching the bellows, the simple lens really isn't all the bad
